Terms of Use for Enate Self Service
These are the terms of use for individuals who use the self-service facility operated by Enate Limited (a company registered in England and Wales with company number 4077681).
You are using the service at the invitation of an Enate Ltd customer to give you access to a business process operated by Enate Ltd on behalf of that customer. In these terms, we refer to that organisation as the ‘Service Provider’. You can identify the Service Provider from the webpage you visit after logging-in.
The service you are about to use is operated by Enate Ltd for the Service Provider. Most of our legal obligations are in a contract between Enate Ltd and the Service Provider. The Service Provider, not Enate Ltd, is responsible for the service you access as a self-service user.
When you use the facility as a self-service user, you might provide some personal data which is then processed by Enate Ltd:
- When you log in, Enate Ltd will store and process your log-in credentials and we will use that data to identify you as an authorised user of the services.
- It’s possible that the service will also allow you to provide additional information which might include personal data. The types of data collected, and the details of how that data is used, are controlled by the Service Provider.
- Enate Limited is collecting and processing your personal data on behalf of the Service Provider. Our contract with the Service Provider includes obligations to protect and use your personal data in accordance with data protection legislation. The Service Provider, not Enate Ltd, is responsible for notifying you about any applicable privacy policy.
- You can read more about how we store and protect data in a document called ‘Where’s My Data and Protected’ published here: https://docs.enate.net/enate-contract-documents/. That link also includes a document called ‘Enate Sub-processors’ which contains information about other organisations we use to store and process data, including organisations that might be outside the UK or the European Union.
If you need to communicate with Enate Ltd about your use of the services or processing of your personal data, please email our Data Protection Officer using dpo@enate.net. You can telephone us using the number published on our website at www.enate.io, where you will also find our address. If you are having trouble locating someone at the Service Provider responsible for the privacy terms applicable to your data, please contact us using the details above and we will endeavour to put you in touch with the relevant person.
